These are websites that I use or companies that I can recommend.

Weather
There’s lots of weather information on the internet. The Met Office is worth a look. As well as general forecasts they also do Synoptic Charts, the Inshore Waters Forecast and the Shipping Forecast.
Windy gives a good graphical representation of weather data and you can use it to look at the predictions of all the main models.
XC Weather seem to be pretty good at forecasting wind speeds.

Navigational Information
Tidal information can be found on the Admiralty website.
Visit My Harbour has a lot of information on the uk with Noonsite giving useful information on a worldwide context.

RYA Courses
The RYA website contains lots of information relating to sailing and has a search function to find specific courses.
For RYA practical courses I can recommend Oban Sea School and for RYA shorebased courses Ardent Training do excellent online courses.

Environment
The Green Blue is a good place to start when thinking about sailing and the environment.
Two organisations that I do some work for in this area are the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust and Marine Conservation Research.
